Nickelodeon has extended its partnership with Showtime Attractions in Australia and New Zealand to include the Nick Jr. preschool property "Paw Patrol" in its live events portfolio.

Beginning in September, "Paw Patrol" characters Chase and Marshall will be available for character appearances. Live shows will follow in January 2016.

Initially, Showtime Attractions will organize a series of non-ticketed character shows in shopping centers, meet-and-greet appearances and activity and craft zones at small- and large-scale events.

“Since its launch in 2013, 'Paw Patrol' has become a global phenomenon, achieving high ratings on subscription and free-to-air television, along with mass consumer product sales across all international territories," says Jihee Nam, vice president and general manager, Nickelodeon Australia and New Zealand. "The show’s extension to the live events business in Australia and New Zealand is testament to the strength and success of our kids and family entertainment offering across multiple platforms.”

Showtime Attractions has managed live events for Nickelodeon’s “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” in Australia and New Zealand since 2014.
