Viacom International Media Networks has partnered with Parques Reunidos and Intu to develop a Nickelodeon-themed indoor family entertainment center at the retail location.

Nick Family Centers Head to Intu

Nickelodeon-branded indoor entertainment will debut at the U.K. retailer in 2018.


The new Nick family entertainment center will be located at Intu Lakeside, which is on the outskirts of London, and represents the latest development from VIMN and Parques Reunidos

to develop family entertainment centers throughout Europe


The Nickelodeon family entertainment center will include interactive activities, an adventure zone, character meet-and-greets and Nickelodeon-themed rooms for parties. The space will also have a dedicated food and beverage area and a Nickelodeon retail space.

“We are very pleased to continue applying our knowledge in the development and management of leisure parks to create these new family experiences in shopping centers and, particularly, of doing so in collaboration with Nickelodeon and Intu,” says Fernando Eiroa, chief executive officer, Parques Reunidos. “Shopping centers have evolved

into spaces where families spend time together and Parques Reunidos shares Intu’s vision of transforming the experiences lived in these centers to make them into wonderful memories.”

The Nickelodeon family entertainment center at Intu Lakeside is expected to open in 2018.
