Tween series adds four new licensees for apparel, books and more.
The new deals precede the arrival of the show’s international touring production “The Next Step Wild Rhythm Tour,” which will hit stages across the U.K. this spring.
The show’s new licensees include Sainsbury’s for a dance and leisurewear apparel line, created by TVM Fashion Lab; Igloo Books for novels, annuals and specialty books; Signature Publishing for a special
Girls Love “The Next Step”
magazine; and Danilo for calendars.
“‘The Next Step’ is taking the country by storm and was CBBC’s highest rated series in 2015,” says Martin Lowde, managing director, Brands with Influence. “Now, with this exciting new range of merchandise, viewers will be able to enjoy the brand off-screen as well as on-screen. When you add to this the great news about the sellout tour in the spring we are in for a really big dance year.”
