Saban Brands has appointed Corus Entertainment's Nelvana to represent the Power Rangers brand for licensing in France.

Nelvana has already signed two new licensees in France for the kids' action-adventure brand: Sun City for children's t-shirts and sleepwear and Viquel for back-to-school products and stationery.

“Nelvana has a proven track record in establishing kids' properties in the French market,” says Gustavo Antonioni, managing director, consumer products, EMEA, Saban Brands. “We look forward to working with their team of experts to bring the iconic Power Rangers franchise to the next level and expand the consumer products program to reach a wider audience of fans.”

The newest iteration of the long-running TV series, "Power Rangers Dino Charge" will debut in France this fall on Gulli. Additionally, the brand's first feature film will hit theaters in summer 2016 from Lionsgate.

“We’re thrilled to be able to represent one of the longest-running kids' series in TV history and add these new licenses to the dynamic Power Rangers portfolio,” says Antoine Erligmann, co-head, Nelvana Enterprises. “With the breadth of new content coming out over the next year, this partnership will enhance the Power Rangers experience for kids.”
