Corus Entertainment’s Nelvana has announced a major re-brand of its company and unveiled a slate of new content.

The new logo debuted during MIPCom, which took place this week in Cannes, France.

According to Nelvana, the brand refresh “reflects the organization’s focus on quality storytelling, iconic characters and the innovation and development of cutting-edge creative content with universal market appeal.”

Nelvana’s management will stay largely intact, with Scott Dyer, president, and Pam Westman, head of Nelvana Enterprises, remaining in their respective posts. Athena Georgaklis, head of development, Nelvana, has recently joined the executive team.

“As one of the most preeminent animation companies in the world, we are pleased to unveil our new look under the guidance of our respected and accomplished team,” says Dyer. “Accompanied by a stable of new productions in development and up for distribution, this refined look represents a new era of industry-leading content creation for Nelvana.

The re-brand is accompanied by four new series, each with an accompanying merchandise program.

“Hotel Transylvania: The Series” will premiere on Disney Channels worldwide next year, “Bravest Warriors” from the creator of “Adventure Time” will debut, “Mysticons” will hit Nickelodeon networks around the globe next year and “Esme and Roy,” a new creation from Sesame Workshop, will debut on Corus’ Treehouse in Canada and HBO in the U.S.
