NORTH AMERICA–Nelvana’s new animated comedy-adventure series “D.N.Ace” has been greenlit to begin production.

The new series follows curious, adventure-loving, mischief-making, proudly nerdy, 12-year-old Ace Ripley who suddenly learns he holds an incredibly ability to manipulate DNA by fusing the genes of a living thing with any other thing to create something entirely new. The hero-in-the-making must try to save his town from total chaos while also trying to have the time of his life.

“D.N.Ace” will air on the Teletoon Network in Canada. Each episode will be 2x11 minutes, with a total of 80 episodes. Furthermore, Dentsu and OLM will be representing the series in Japan and will be consulting throughout the production process.
