Animated series expands globally with raft of new agents.

Corus Entertainment’s Nelvana has named 14 new licensing agents for its animated preschool series “Trucktown.”

The new agents will represent the brand on a wide-ranging consumer products program that spans Europe, South America and Asia, among other regions.

  • Empire Multimedia Corporation for South Korea, the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam and India

  • Exim Argentina Eximtrading for Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay

  • Exim Character Licenciamento e Marketing for Brazil

  • Exim Colombia Licensing for Colombia and Ecuador

  • Exim Representaciones Mexico for Mexico

  • France TV Distribution for France

  • MON Licensing for Guatemala, Belize, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama

  • Super RTL for Germany, Austria and German-speaking Switzerland

“Trucktown” follows the adventures of Jack Truck and his best friends, a group of rough and tumble young trucks, as they roar, romp and power their way through Trucktown. The series is based on the books by children’s author Jon Scieszka.
