Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products has teamed up with Johnny Cupcakes and NECA for two new The Simpsons offerings–a range of apparel and the third series of Simpsonized celebrity figures.

Johnny Cupcakes has launched its new apparel and accessories collection featuring characters from the iconic TV show, anchored by oversized “cupcake mix” boxes, each based on a fan-favorite character from The Simpsons franchise. Each box contains three collectible products designed exclusively around the theme of the featured characters: Homer Simpson, Bart Simpson and Krusty The Clown.

Additional clothing items featuring iconic characters with a Johnny Cupcakes twist will also be available in all Johnny Cupcakes retail shops and online May 31.

“The Johnny Cupcakes brand has such a tactile and engaging experience embedded into its culture, and we wanted to bring that energy to The Simpsons apparel line,” says Johnny "Cupcakes" Earle, chief executive officer and head baker, Johnny Cupcakes. “What makes this collaboration unique is the fun world of imagery and iconography that we’ve created with our brand that we were able to seamlessly merge into The Simpsons universe.”

Meanwhile NECA has announced the lineup of celebrities that will appear in its third series of The Simpsons 25 of the Greatest Guest Stars line. The third installment will feature Penn and Teller, Bret Hart, Stephen King, Leonard Nimoy and R.E.M. The Simpsonized characters will appear on an array of products including figures, collectibles and apparel.

The second series, featuring The Who, Britney Spears, Mark Hamill, Lucy Lawless and Tony Hawk, is now available at various retailers, including Toys ‘R’ Us and Hastings.
