NATPE: VIMN Expands in the Americas

Viacom International Media Networks The Americas announced plans to expand its roster of productions targeting Millennials in the region at the NATPE Miami market and conference, which is taking place this week in Florida.

The company has greenlit more original content, including Nickelodeon’s first-ever Portuguese-language novela in Brazil, “Dani Who”; the “Kids’ Choice Awards Colombia” (Aug. 30); a local Colombia version of MTV’s “Catfish”; Mexican formats of “Jersey Shore” and “Ridiculousness” from MTV Latin America (September).

VIMN’s plans to increase its production pipeline in the Americas comes on the heels of the premiere of Nickelodeon Latin America’s first English-language production, “Every Witch Way” (an adaptation of the network’s hit novela “Grachi”) on Nickelodeon U.S.
