From now through November, Sea Life will introduce the Moshi Marine Force program at its centers throughout the country. Designed to inspire children to help the ocean and its shores, kids will take part in interactive quiz trails to become a Buster Conservation Hero (named after the Moshi Monster Buster Bumblechops).
Six Moshlings will also be hidden in tanks around the aquarium that, once found, will unlock a special new in-game character, Lubber the Whale. Moshi Monsters’ toy partner Vivid is planning a collectible figure for the new character, and Carte Blanch is creating and exclusive plush that will be available at Sea Life centers.
Additionally, characters Buster, Poppet and Katsuma will be there to meet-and-greet fans, the centers will host Moshling swap stations for children to trade with other collectors and kids will leave with a Conservation Hero certificate.
The Lubber the Whimsical Whale collectible Moshling will also be available from key retailers in the U.K.
“Sea Life is a great fit for us. We already have the Fishies and Sploshies Moshling sets, so it’s great that we can add Salties and Lubber the Whimsical Whale to the collection,” says Michael Acton Smith, chief executive officer and founder, Mind Candy. “We know how important it is to protect the environment, so we hope the Moshi Marine Force will help.”
