Moose Toys has announced the launch of Tile Town, a magnetic build-a-playset system. This new line introduces an array of playsets that incorporate “action tiles” – a first in the category – designed to bring characters and scenes to life with dynamic movements and interactions.
Tile Town will debut in October with classic children’s toy themes like a pet clinic and fire station. In addition to the classic themes, Tile Town will feature playsets based on popular licensed properties, like “Bluey” from producer, Ludo Studio, and distributor/licensor, BBC Studios, and “Jurassic World” from Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment. Each set includes magnetic tiles and figures that children can use to build interactive environments, encouraging creativity and storytelling. Action tiles activate various movements depending on the theme, such as swinging, dancing and opening doors.

“We’re adding the Moose WOW to the building playset category,” says John Coyne, chief brand officer, Moose Toys. “We took a new approach to the category with magnetic tiles that can be used to build recognizable playsets that have incredibly unique play features and characters for kids to interact with. It’s all about the simplicity of ‘click, build, play.’”
Ahead of the full launch, a special Bluey Heeler Home and 4WD Vehicle set are available for presale. Moose Toys is the global master toy partner for “Bluey” through a licensing deal with BBC Studios.
Moose Toys will launch the new playsets in October with a long-term vision for Tile Town, including future playsets, action tiles and new licensed themes. The launch will be supported by a marketing campaign emphasizing the ease and fun of “click, build, play.”
