Publishing program will begin to roll out in multiple territories in fall 2018.

Sutikki, the kids and family division of Bento Box Entertainment, has tapped Scholastic to serve as the worldwide master publishing partner for the preschool series “Moon and Me.”

The global publishing range will be led out of Scholastic’s U.K. offices and will roll out the collection across a number of territories in fall 2018.

“I’m genuinely thrilled to have Scholastic act as our global master publishing partner,” says Andrew Kerr, co-founder, Sutikki. “I’ve been lucky enough to know and work with the team at Scholastic for a number of brands over many years, and I couldn’t imagine a better partner to do justice to all of ‘Moon and Me’s’ tremendous storytelling opportunities.”

“Moon and Me” is a story of a special friendship between two characters from completely different words. The new preschool series was developed by Andrew Davenport, creator of “Teletubbies” and “In the Night Garden,” and will premiere on CBeebies in the U.K. in 2018.

“We are beyond excited to be working with Andy Davenport and Sutikki on a project with such a great pedigree,” says Elizabeth Scoggins, publisher, licensing and non-fiction, Scholastic U.K. “It’s a real thrill to welcome Andy to Scholastic both as an author and as the creator of an incredible new children’s program. We’re very much looking forward to working together to create a truly memorable publishing program for ‘Moon and Me.’”
