Pacific Animation Partners, a joint venture between Jakks Pacific and Dentsu Entertainment USA, has announced plans for a full range of new Monsuno toys designed to reflect the new season of “Monsuno Combat Chaos.”

Co-produced by Pacific Animation, FremantleMedia Kids & Family Entertainment and The Topps Company, the second season of the boy’s animated action-adventures series will debut later this year.

Jakks Pacific plans to release new Monsuno toys including larger transforming action figures, accessories and battle sets that complement the existing Monsuno products, as well as an all-new battle action game, Combat Chaos. The range will launch in the U.S. and internationally later this year.

Jakks Pacific is the creator of the underlying Monsuno property and master toymaker for the Monsuno toy line. The Topps Company produces Monsuno trading card games, confectioneries and related products.

“Creating meaningful and relevant themes for the second season of ‘Monsuno’ is an imperative part of keeping the brand fresh and exciting in the short term, while continuing to shepherd a long-term franchise-building vision,” says Jared Wolfson, director of marketing and creative producer, Jakks Pacific. “The lineup of awesome new animated episodes, dynamic toys and easy-to-learn battle gameplay implements a strategically seamless integration of three all-important elements, which we expect will resonate strongly with our core audience.”

“Monsuno” airs in 140 markets globally including Nicktoons in the U.S. and across all of Nickelodeon's international channels.
