Exim Brazil and Exim Colombia will now work to bring the teen series into a host of categories in the region.

Mondo TV Iberoamerica Group has tapped Exim Brazil and Exim Colombia to represent its live-action teen series “Heidi, Bienvenida a Casa” for licensing in the Latin American market.

Exim Colombia has signed on to manage the property in Colombia, Ecuador and Central America. Meanwhile, Exim Brazil will manage the Brazilian market.

“‘Heidi, Bienvenida a Casa’ is one of those unique projects which offers unlimited opportunities for consumer products and licensed promotions, especially now when there is a commitment for further content production,” says Celso Rafael, managing partner, Exim Brazil. “Our preliminary evaluation and research have shown a growing demand in different product categories. We are thrilled to be representing the brand and be able to offer our regional and local partners the opportunity to join and maximize the business.”

“Heidi, Bienvenida a Casa” is a live-action teen series that reinterprets the classic children’s novel, Heidi, with comedy, humor and music, as well as some modern twists. The show launched on Nickelodeon Latin America last March.

“We are delighted to confirm that with Exim Brazil and Exim Colombia we have now built a strong agent’s network throughout Latin America counting on the most respected licensing agencies of the region with a wide expertise in the industry,” says Maria Bonaria Fois, general manager, Mondo TV Iberoamerica. “They will manage the licensing rights across the main hard lines and soft lines categories and we are sure that we will drive the property to a great success. Under this agreement, we look forward to achieve really positive results.”
