Cartoon Network and The LEGO Group are readying for the U.S. debut of their new multi-platform property Mixels, which will begin rolling out online, in stores and on TV screens next month.

Centered around a world of colorful creatures that can mix and combine with each other, the brand will launch with the Mixels.com website on Feb. 6 and be followed by the debut of a series of animated shorts on Cartoon Network beginning Feb. 12 during “Teen Titans Go!.”

Soon after on March 1, LEGO’s line of Mixels collectible building sets will debut in toy stores alongside an app, “Calling All Mixels,” which will be released in the first quarter.

Mixels.com will be a central hub where fans can watch all of the shorts and learn more about the characters and setting of the Mixels world.

The app “Calling All Mixels, which was developed by Hibernum Creations and published Cartoon Network Games, will let fans build elaborate structures with games that incorporate exploration, combat and strategy.

This will be mirrored in LEGO’s series of buildable toys, which will let kids mix and max Mixels to build new characters. LEGO is planning several releases throughout the year featuring different Mixels tribes.

By launching the property on multiple platforms and formats at the same time, Cartoon Network and LEGO hope to give kids a fully integrated experience.
