“This deal with YEP! Germany is exciting news for our fans in Germany, Austria and German-speaking Switzerland," says Kristen Gray, senior vice president, 4K Media. “They will be able to enjoy the exciting new action in the ‘Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal’ series as well as catch up on ‘Yu-Gi-Oh! GX.’”
Season two of the series will begin airing May 6 alongside seasons one and two of “Yu-Gi-Oh! GX,” which arrived on YEP! last fall.
“We are delighted to partner with 4K Media to complete our anime lineup,” says Karola Bayr, chief executive officer, YEP!. “With the target group of boys ages 6-plus and its strong fan base, ‘Yu-Gi-Oh!’ fits ideally into the YEP! portfolio.”
The “Yu-Gi-Oh!” series is currently in its 13th consecutive year of broadcast in major markets around the world including the U.S., the U.K., France, Italy, Canada and Australia.
