Media company unveils new shows from Nick, MTV, Comedy Central and more.

Viacom International Media Networks has launched nine new properties across multiple networks at this year’s MIPTV.

For Nickelodeon, VIMN will showcase its new animation series “Pig Goat Banana Cricket.” The new series will follow the adventures of the characters Pig, Goat, Banana and Cricket, who live in a metropolis called Boopelite City.

VIMN will also unveil “Talia in the Kitchen” for Nickelodeon. The new telenovela series, produced in Miami, Fla., will follow Talia as she tries to revive her family’s restaurant with food that literally “stirs people’s emotions.”

Meanwhile, TV Land will showcase its new comedy series “Teachers,” which will give a comedic look at a group of “misbehaving” elementary school teachers and their lives.

Comedy Central will debut “Not Safe Nikki Glaser” and “Idiotsitter.”

“Not Safe Nikki Glaser” will be a sex-themed talk show that investigates issues that people are typically too timid to ask about. Meanwhile, “Idiotsitter” will focus on Gene, who is put under house arrest in her family’s mansion with the aid of a nanny to look after her. The show is also the second Comedy Central series to transition from a web series to TV.

BET will release a new romantic comedy series titled “Zoe Ever After,” which stars singer/songwriter Brandy Norwood as she tries to balance motherhood, dating and fulfilling her dreams of starting a cosmetics line.

MTV will head into MIPTV with two new shows. VIMN will be syndicating the rights to the new reality docu-series “Suspect,” which stars “Catfish” host and creator Nev Schulman. The new show will feature how common it is for people to hide secrets from friends and loved ones, subsequently damaging their relationships. MTV will also showcase its new dating series “Car Crash Couples.” The new dating show will feature four couples that will test their relationship in a car race across Europe.

Finally, Spike TV’s “Life or Debt,” which sees Fortune 500 business strategist Victor Antonio offer financial help to families on the brink of financial ruin, will also be available for syndication and format rights.
