Studio 100 has unveiled the launch of a new channel, as well as a multitude of deals for its lineup of shows including “Heidi” and “Maya and the Bee.”

First, Studio 100 will create, supply and schedule a co-branded channel, titled beJunior, in the MENA region. The new channel will be available exclusively for pay TV subscribers of the beIN Media Group and will be targeted toward children and family audiences with programs such as “Maya the Bee,” “Heidi,” “Vic the Viking” and more.

Additionally, the studio will provide the whole air set up of beJunior, including on-air designs, scheduling and whole program supply. The channel is based on the concept of the company’s “junior” pay channel in Germany, Switzerland and Austria.

Meanwhile, Studio 100 has extended its partnership with Hungarian broadcaster MTVA. As a result, “Maya the Bee” will continue to air on the channel and “Tashi” will start airing on the channel this year.

Finally, Studio 100 has secured a home video and VOD with Svensk Filmindustri for “Heidi.” Under the agreement, Svensk Filmindustri will hold the exclusive home video rights for Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Norway and Iceland. A DVD/TVOD/EST release of “Heidi” is slated for September while the SVOD release on SF Kids Play will follow next summer.
