The series, which is inspired by the characters of the Paul Frank brand, will premiere this spring. The deal will also expand to additional countries in Europe, the Middle East and Africa in the near future.

MarVista Entertainment, the series’ international television distributor, negotiated the agreement.

“Julius Jr.” debuted in the U.S. on Nick Jr. in September 2013 and will also premiere on TF1 in France and Discovery Kids Latin America later this year.

“Disney Junior delivers high quality and trusted programming to children and families,” said Frederic Soulie, senior vice president, global distribution, Saban Brands. “We are very pleased to be partnering with a leader in the children’s category who can bring to life the magical and creative storytelling of ‘Julius Jr.’”
