Guru Studio has announced a new broadcast partnership with Cartoonito in Italy, and extended its subscription video on-demand agreement with Netflix in Latin America, for its preschool series “Justin Time” (52x11).

Turner Broadcast System’s children’s channel Cartoonito has acquired free TV rights for both seasons one and two of the series in Italy, and launched the show in its April schedule.

“Having ‘Justin Time’ on free-TV platforms is essential for our lateral growth into licensing on an international scale. We are thrilled that Cartoonito will be part of this plan in a market as important as Italy,” says Mary Bredin, vice president, Guru Studio.

In Latin America Netflix has acquired the SVOD rights to season two of the show, which will be available in Spanish and Portuguese this summer. Netflix launched season one in Latin America last summer, and also holds the SVOD rights to all 52 episodes in the U.S. and the U.K.
