CITV has greenlit an additional 13 episodes of Platinum Films' “Matt Hatter Chronicles,” which was also recently picked up by France’s Canal J and Gulli via French media giant, Lagardère Active.

“‘Matt Hatter Chronicles’ has been hugely popular with our CITV audience. It's great to be bringing brand-new episodes to our viewers this fall," says Jamila Metran, head of programming, CITV. “New baddies and bigger and better adventures have ensured the series has kicked off to a fantastic start.”

Seasons one and two of the CGI animated series premiered in France on Canal J in September, with a spring debut scheduled on Gulli in 2015.

The series also airs on RTE in Ireland, Clan TV in Spain, Canal Panda in Portugal and Spain, RAI Gulp in Italy and Disney XD in the Benelux.

On the consumer products front, Smoby France, the French division of master toy partner the Simba Dickie Group, will launch the Matt Hatter toy range in the country in 2015. The line includes role play, vehicles and action figures.
