MIP: Komixx Options Captured Screen Rights

Komixx now has the rights to produce TV and film adapations for the book in the U.S. and U.K.

GLOBAL–Komixx Entertainment has optioned the worldwide screen rights to the new, young adult thriller novel Captured by Kelly Anne Blount.

Through the agreement, Komixx will have the rights to produce both TV and film adaptions of the book in the U.S. and U.K. The company has also optioned the rights to the authors second book, Under.

Captured follows Abriana Vega after she is assaulted, blindfolded and thrown in the trunk of a car following her first date with Easton Pierce, a man she met via online dating. Now, Abriana must use all of her resources to escape; however, she has no idea that if she makes it home alive, she’ll be in even more danger than before…because Easton isn’t the only one who wants her dead.
