Cartoon Network Studios is showcasing two upcoming series at MIPCOM this week in Cannes, France–the original company "We Bare Bears" and the upcoming rebooted "Powerpuff Girls."
"We Bare Bears" follows bear brothers Grizz, Panda and Ice Bear, three lovable outsiders just trying to find their way into human society. The show was developed as part of Cartoon Network Studios’ global shorts program where its original short won the Young Amsterdam Audience Award in 2014. "We Bare Bears" mades its TV debut Sept. 7.
The network is also highlighting the reimagined series "The Powerpuff Girls," about three girls juggling school and saving the world by bedtime. The series is slated for a 2016 global launch and will be supported by a full licensing program that will roll out across all domestic and international markets.
