The Paramount film-inspired virtual reality game will be available for fans at five AMC locations in New York and Southern California.

NORTH AMERICA–Film director Michael Bay, in cooperation with Paramount Pictures, has teamed up with the ILMxLAB team to debut a “Transformers: The Last Knight VR Experience” in New York, Los Angeles and select AMC Theatres lobbies.

The 5-minute VR game will see players join the hero Autobots as they face off against the Decepticons in a single-player, fast-paced shooter game. During gameplay, fans will recover, protect and transport a powerful weapon to prevent the destruction of a nearby metropolis.

“We are thrilled to deliver ‘Transformers: The Last Knight VR Experience’ to AMC guests in New York and Southern California,” says Elizabeth Frank, executive vice president, worldwide programing and chief content officer, AMC Theatres. “The VR experienced produced by Michael Bay is a wonderful way for our guests to immerse themselves in the Transformers world, and it is a perfect complement to our IMAX VR at AMC Kips Bay 15 VR Centre.”

Transformers: The Last Knight VR Experience” is now available at the IMAX VR Centre across from The Grove in Los Angeles and the IMAX VR Centre at AMC Kips Bay 15 in New York City. It is also available at AMC 34th Street and AMC Lincoln Square 13 in New York and the AMC Orange 30 in Southern California.
