memBrain has taken on the global licensing program for music and lifestyle brand The Pussycat Dolls.

Created by choreographer, dancer and clothing designer Robin Antin in 1995, The Pussycat Dolls began as an all-girl burlesque troupe that performed throughout Los Angeles, Calif. After signing the group to Interscope records in 2003, Antin established the brand as a music franchise that consists of a rotating performance troupe of five female singer/dancers.

Inspired by Antin’s original vision for the group, the brand’s new merchandise program will be designed to appeal to the group’s global fanbase as well as confident women of all ages. memBrain plans to expand the lifestyle brand into apparel, activewear, lingerie, footwear, accessories, beauty and gaming.

“Robin is a creative entrepreneur who has successfully translated her talents in choreography and dance into the creation of an extraordinarily successful music franchise throughout the world,” says Jennifer Sullivan, president, memBrain. “The Pussycat Dolls brand is globally recognized as a leading force in beauty, dance and female empowerment, and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to join Robin’s team on this next chapter in the brand’s incredible journey–introducing a wide range of products capturing the essence of what made The Pussycat Dolls such a global sensation.”
