In anticipation of the premiere of The Angry Birds Movie on May 20, Rovio has tapped McDonald’s to support the film in 119 global markets and approximately 33,000 restaurants.

McDonald’s will support the film through its Happy Meal program, digital program (which supports BirdCodes for “Angry Birds Action) and global TV commercials. The TV campaigns will air in more than 40 countries, including two animated spots in the U.S. and more throughout the world.

Additionally, signage and product packaging will feature characters from the film and several markets in Asia will feature food items inspired Angry Birds.
