Mattel has tapped U.K. licensee Jumbo Games to develop a range of children’s puzzles and games featuring its preschool series, “Bob the Builder.”

Preschool character inspires line of kids’ games.

Mattel has tapped U.K. licensee Jumbo Games to develop a range of children’s puzzles and games featuring its preschool series, “Bob the Builder.”

Jumbo’s new range will comprise of three puzzles types including four-in-one shaped puzzles, nine-in-one puzzle bumper pack and a puzzle assortment.

Following the launch of the puzzles, branded giant playing cards will also be released.

The “Bob the Builder” jigsaw puzzles will be available at U.K. retailers this September. The giant playing cards will be available in time for Christmas.

“We are thrilled to expand our working relationship with Mattel on such a popular preschool property; we can’t wait for our product to hit the market in September,” says Stewart Middleton, managing director, Jumbo Games. “there has been great excitement about the new TV series and demand from retail for our product has been very positive already–Bob is certainly back with a bang.”
