Children’s preschool brands will be featured in new indoor, play attraction.

Mattel has partnered with the Lappset Group Oy from Rovaniemi, Finland, and the Albert Dock family entertainment center in Liverpool, England, to launch the indoor attraction Mattel Play!

The new attraction will include several branded play areas that feature Mattel brands such as “Bob the Builder,” “Thomas & Friends” and “Fireman Sam.” The attraction will also include a restaurant, shop, themed party rooms and a green screen experience.

Mattel Play! was designed, manufactured by Lappset and is the first Mattel Play! in Europe. The Liverpool location is operated by Heritage Great Britain, one of the U.K’s most significant experience tourism enterprises.

“After months of planning and preparation, we’re delighted to reveal this new concept, which is a first for Liverpool,” says Allan Leech, chief executive officer, Heritage Great Britain. “Everyone’s pulled together to make this happen and we’re grateful to all our city partners, along with Lappset Creative and their team from Finland who built the attraction.”

The Mattel Play! experience is now open at the Albert Dock family entertainment center in Liverpool, England.
