In celebration of the 30th anniversary of the He-Man and Masters of the Universe franchises, Mattel has released a new He-Man mobile game.

Created in partnership with game publisher Chillingo and mobile developer GlitchSoft, the game takes He-Man fans back to Eternia in a modern celebration of classic gameplay.

The game features a range of familiar characters and settings in addition to He-Man himself, including Skeletor, Castle Grayskull and Beast Man.

Collectible digital lore is hidden in each of the game’s 27 level including ’80s product art and mini-comic covers.

“The 30th anniversary of He-Man and Masters of the Universe was the perfect time for us to give back to our millions of fans with an engaging game that is fun to play and visually stunning,” says Doug Wadleigh, senior vice president, global brands marketing, Mattel.

“He-Man: The Most Powerful Game in the Universe” is now available for iOS devices in the Apple App Store.
