Shine 360 has tapped the travel company Cox & Kings to develop a series of culinary holidays based on the MasterChef brand.

The MasterChef Travel tours will feature local culinary experts and, on some tours, contestants from “MasterChef” series from around the world.

Fans will get a chance not only to discover local cuisine, but also to explore the country’s most interesting sights.

The first tour to Marrakech will depart on March 25, 2014, with subsequent tours traveling to Turkey, Italy, China, Spain, India, Vietnam, Mexico and Thailand.

"Food and travel have been the perfect pairing for MasterChef, with some of the world's most exciting and exotic destinations featured across our global franchise,” says Ben Liebmann, chief executive, Shine 360. "The international provenance of our contestants' recipes and ingredients also make travel a natural extension for the brand. We are thrilled to be working with the Cox & Kings team to bring this vision to life and to the show's millions of fans and food lovers."
