Animaccord, in partnership with Ink Group, have signed a number of deals to expand “Masha and the Bear” in a range of territories.
First, the Middle East’s Spacetoon has secured 13 new episodes, completing the second season, and will begin airing the show’s second season in July.
Meanwhile, HTV3 in Vietnam and ANTV in Indoenesia will debut the second season of “Masha and the Bear” and its spinoff series “Masha’s Tales” this summer. Additionally, both seasons of “Masha and the Bear” will begin airing in Thailand on Tru4U and TruSpark.
Finally, in the U.S. and Canada, Netflix is planning to launch the show’s second season on Aug. 1. The broadcaster has also released “Masha’s Tales” and will release “Masha’s Spooky Stories” in October.
