Following the success of the inaugural Marvel Super Hero September campaign, Disney Consumer Products is planning to expand the multi-platform U.S. program this year.

The campaign, which will now be called Marvel Super Hero Spectacular, will run for five weeks from the end of September through October.

The 2015 promotion will feature an enhanced marketing and retail strategy with more partners and merchandise offerings aimed to entice fans to celebrate their love for Marvel. The campaign will focus on core Marvel franchises including The Avengers, Spider-Man and Guardians of Galaxy and will see the return of partners including Hasbro, Party City, Payless and Hallmark. Returning and new partners will feature promotions, special offers and in-store events throughout the fall promotion.

MarvelKids.com and Marvel.com will serve as the central hub for the activiations, with exclusive content, activities and details on special offerings leading up to and throughout the celebration.

“Marvel Super Hero Spectacular was born purely from the excitement, success and continued demand from last year’s Marvel Super Hero September campaign," says Paul Gitter, senior vice president, licensing, Marvel, DCP. "Fans showed us, along with our licensees and retailers, the passion and love they have for the Marvel brand. We are looking forward to unveiling many more exciting announcements that are tailor made to satisfy every Marvel fan from kids, parents, and adults.”
