Marvel Fills its Cup

Thermos is bringing a wide range of Marvel characters to insulated containers for retail in mass market channels and Amazon starting this summer. The line will feature characters from the Avengers, Spider-Man and Guardians of the Galaxy franchises and will include lunch kits and food jars.

Zak Designs will also feature a range of characters from the Marvel Universe on drinkware. Spider-Man and Avengers characters are available now, with designs featuring

Marvel’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier

and

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy

set to launch alongside each theatrical release. The Zak Designs line will also include dinnerware and food storage.

Silver Buffalo and Vandor, the newest licensees added to the intergalactic Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy lineup, are planning a line of drinkware set to hit shelves this July, in advance of the film’s August release.

“At Marvel we are always looking for ways to use the impact of our characters to convey positive messages to kids,” says Paul Gitter, senior vice president, licensing, Marvel, Disney Consumer Products. “Staying hydrated throughout the day is crucial for kids and adults alike, and we love that through our Super Heroes like Captain America and Iron Man we can make hydration cool.”
