The Topps Company and Stan Lee's Comikaze Expo have teamed up to offer a Mars Attacks exclusive trading card at this year’s show, which will take place in Los Angeles, Calif., Nov. 1-3.

Stan Lee himself will be featured on the limited edition card, facing off against the iconic Martian invader.

The trading card is part of the Topps’ new Mars Attacks: Invasion card series, a revival of the classic card series and featuring first new story based on the brand in more than 50 years.

"In 1962 when Mars Attacks was making its mark on the world of trading cards, Stan and his stable of sensational superhero stories were transforming the landscape of comic books," says Adam Levine, entertainment licensing manager, Topps. "I can't think of any better match-up than these two pop culture icons to face off in the most outrageous, out-of-this world trading card cross-over we've ever seen."

Topps will exhibit for the first time at Comikaze this year to promote the release of the trading cards, which boast all-new art by illustrators including Joe Jusko, Earl Norem, Glen Orbik, Sanjulian and Dan Brereton.

Limited to just 2,500 cards and painted by Joe Jusko, the Stan Strikes! card will be given away free at the show, where a limited edition print of the painting will also be available for sale, signed by Jusko.
