Spanish production company Imira Entertainment has sold its original series “Lucky Fred” to Spanish broadcaster Atresmedia Television for its children’s entertainment segment–Neox Kidz. The series will begin airing this summer for audiences in both Castilian and English.

The sale comes as part of “Lucky Fred’s” re-launch in Spain, after it was successfully distributed to 165 territories worldwide in 26 different languages.

“Lucky Fred” follows the adventures an ordinary 13-year-old boy who accidentally becomes the owner of a shape-shifting robot.
