Paramount Pictures and London Resort Company Holdings have delayed submitting their planning application for the London Paramount Entertainment Resort in North Kent, England, until 2017.

The plans were originally suppose to be submitted by 2016, with the park slated to open in 2020.

Given some of the changes that are currently being made to the master plan, the companies have decided to hold another round of public consultation with the updated information, delaying the park’s plans, according to David Testa of London Paramount.

The new theme park is planned to be twice the size of the Olympic Park and will bring more than 3,000 of Paramount’s films to life for guests including Mission Impossible, Star Trek and Titanic
