Comedy Central Latin America has partnered with TV Azteca to co-produce a Latin American adaption of “Lip Sync Battle.”

Consisting of 13, 60-minute episodes, “Lip Sync Mexico” will be similar to the U.S. version, but instead of two celebrities per battle, three celebrities will take the stage.

The deal brings the total number of locally adapted formats of the series (on-air or confirmed to air) to 12, with format sales in more than 30 territories since its launch in March 2015.

“Lip Sync Mexico” is currently in pre-production and is scheduled to air on Comedy Central Latin America and TV Azteca later this year.
