The first Chinese celebrity to partake, Wang offered his entertainment expertise to create a collection of characters that mirror his bright youthful energy.
Now in its second year, The Friends Creators project aims to create a new type of character IP using the company’s capabilities and assets.
Last year, Line Friends collaborated with boy band BTS for a “BT21’ character.
"I was pleased to collaborate with Line Friends and participate in the entire process of creating new characters which are creating great expectation. My hope is that these new characters become a gift that brings joy and energy to fans and consumers around the world," says Wang.
The line of characters created with Wang will be released in November, available at Line Friends locations worldwide.
