Sixteen South’s new preschool animation “Lily’s Driftwood Bay” will feature Dolly Parton as a singing chicken, named Noleen, for a special episode next year.

In Parton’s double length episode, “The Salty Chicken," Parton will play a famous singing chicken whose luxury yacht gets beached on Driftwood Bay during a storm. An impromptu concert will see Salty duet with Noleen, who’s astonished by his talent and tries to persuade him to come on tour with her.

“Lily’s Driftwood Bay” is produced by Sixteen South and co-produced with KiKA. The new series will debut on Nick Jr. in the U.K. on June 6 and on Sprout in the U.S. on June 27.
