Korean animation studio Tuba n Co. has appointed Kaynak Licensing Co. to bring its cartoon brand Larva to new audiences in Turkey.

KLC will represent Larva and the developers' suite of other animation in categories such as publishing, stationery, apparel, back-to-school, promotional events, activities and campaigns.

“We are very excited to be working with Tuba n Co. Bringing their awesome characters to life outside the Korean market will be a fun job for us,” says Hakan Tungaç, managing director, KLC. “Our exciting new marketing concept connects international characters with fast-moving consumer goods and lifestyle brands in a fresh approach not previously seen in mainstream promotional marketing.”

“Larva” is an ongoing series of short cartoons featuring bugs that have to constantly scavenge for their next trash meal.

"We are thrilled to be partnering with KLC on this important new project,” says Chang-ll Be, chief marketing officer, TUBA n Co. “Together with KLC, we will collaborate and innovate to grow our business in Turkey, and will help unlock new territories and opportunities.”
