Licensing agency taps Tonner, Toy Vault for new products inspired by the Sony Pictures Television series.

Sony Pictures Television and licensing agency Knockout Licensing have named two new licensees to support the product program for the TV series “Outlander.”

Tonner will produce limited edition 16-inch and 17-inch collectible dolls; while Toy Vault will manufacture board games based on the property.

Based on an eight-book series by author Diana Gabaldon, “Outlander” follows the story of Claire Randall, a married combat nurse from 1945 that is mysteriously swept back in time to 1743. The series debuted this year on the Starz network. Season two will premiere in spring 2016.
