Factory Entertainment has signed a multi-year licensing agreement with Sony Pictures Television to produce a wide range of novelty items and collectibles for the Starz series "Outlander."

The deal was brokered by Knockout Licensing, the licensing representative for the TV show.

Factory Entertainment is planning a diverse range of "Outlander" products that will include pillows, towels, stationery, lithographs, drink bottles, jewelry replicas and costume accessory replicas.

The line will hit shelves this summer and will be previewed at New York Toy Fair this weekend.

"Outlander" is adapted from Diana Gabaldon’s New York Times-bestselling book series and follows a married combat nurse from 1945 who is mysteriously swept back in time to 1743. The series will return for the second half of its first season on April 4. A second season is in pre-production.

“We’re huge fans of the series and a line of licensed merchandise is the perfect opportunity for us to create quality products that appeal to every type of 'Outlander' enthusiast, whether Highlanders or Sassenachs,” says Jordan Schwartz, president and chief executive officer, Factory Entertainment. "There’s something captivating about a love story that spans centuries. It’s a privilege for us to be able to honor this wonderful saga.”
