The Weddings and Resorts division of lifestyle brand kathy ireland Worldwide has expanded outside of the U.S. for the first time.

The brand, which already boasts five event destinations in Hawaii and California, is now planning new locations in the South Pacific island nation of Fiji. 

Each location is designed to an elected theme and incorporates Ireland's style guides, which are also used in collections of bridal gowns and amenities.

The two private villas at the new Nanuku Cove resort, Takali and Tinikatolu, will feature a range of unique amenities and attractions including indoor and outdoor showers, daybed pavilions, infinity pools, and of course, the South Pacific. 

As part of the expansion Thomas Meharey has been promoted to vice president of kathy ireland Worldwide.
