In the first move of its global licensing expansion, Guru Studio has appointed two new agents for its preschool series “Justin Time.”

Knockout Licensing will represent the property in the U.S. and Canada, while Super RTL takes on the brand in Germany and German-speaking Europe.

Guru plans to select additional agents in other key markets as the series gains popularity.

“As a big fan of the show, I immediately envisioned the possibilities for merchandise opportunities for all sorts of imaginative play and products,” says Tamra Knepfer, co-president, Knockout Licensing. “From silly, funny Squidgy toys and apparel to Justin dress-up and adventure play sets, the program is full of product potential.  Plus, furthered by the show’s strong ratings and broad household penetration thanks to Sprout’s growth, the new NBC Kids block, and of course Netflix, we are looking forward to debuting the property for licensing at the Licensing Expo in Las Vegas June 18-20.”

The animated series for 3- to 6-year-olds, which airs in more than 70 countries worldwide, follows the adventures of Justin and his imaginary pals Olive and Squidgy as they set off on fantastical adventures in time, told from every corner of the world.
