New theme park attraction will highlight the iconic villain from the Batman franchise.

Warner Bros. Consumer Products, on behalf of DC Entertainment, has teamed up with Six Flags Over Texas to debut a new themed roller coaster inspired by the Joker.

The new roller coaster, titled The Joker, will take park guests up a 12-story, 90-degree hill before flipping them head-over-heels at least six times through a variety of twists, turns and unexpected drops.

“The Joker is undeniably one of the greatest DC super villains ever created and this free-fly roller coaster lives up to the name–it is wicked fun and like nothing our guests have ever experienced,” says Steve Martindale, president, Six Flags Over Texas. “As the car travels along the track, riders are in constant motion, turning somersaults in mid-air. The ride’s design is innovation at its best, and we are excited and proud to unveil our most maniacal coaster to date, The Joker.”

The Joker is now available to the general public at Six Flags Over Texas and will a permanent attraction within the theme park’s Gotham City lineup.
