Disney has partnered with Dole Food Company and Jakks Pacific for new promotions and products featuring the upcoming live-action film Beauty and the Beast, which will hit U.S. theaters Friday.

The Walt Disney Company and Dole Food Company will resume their multi-year healthy living initiative with Beauty and the Beast-branded fruits and vegetables, digital integrations and more. The latest promotion will feature Belle, Beast, Lumiere and other characters from the film on Dole bananas, pineapples and salads. The characters will also inspire a raft of healthy recipes, serving suggestions and nutrition tips.

The partnership will also feature a series of consumer promotions, digital integrations and in-store activities to help parents encourage their children and families to make healthier food choices.

“Disney and Dole are working together to give parents high-quality, nutritional food options that make it easier for families to make healthy choices,” says John T. King, vice president, licensing, Disney Consumables. “The new program will combine Disney's characters and stories with Dole's fruits and vegetables to help inform and inspire families to live healthier.”

The Beauty and the Beast healthy living promotion will run through April 16.

Meanwhile, Jakks Pacific has revealed its new line of toys and role play items based on Disney’s new movie Beauty and the Beast.

Highlights from the line include the enchanted rose jewelry box, which also includes a collectible gold “feather” ring; the enchanted objects tea set based on Mrs. Potts and Chip; Belle’s ball gown; Bell’s dress up accessory set; a 14-inch ballroom Belle doll; and a baby Belle doll.

The new Beauty and the Beast toys and role play products are now available at retailers throughout U.S.
