ITV Studios Global Entertainment has added two new licensees for the boys’ series “Matt Hatter Chronicles.”

ITV Studios Global Entertainment has added two new licensees to the growing roster for Platinum Films’ boys’ series “Matt Hatter Chronicles.”

VMC Accessories has signed on for a range of Matt Hatter dress-up and fashion accessories for the U.K., and Trade Mark Collections will produce a line of branded bags and related fashion accessories.

VMC’s dress-up collection will include a Matt Hatter hero costume alongside a variety of accessories featuring signature characters and inspirational theming such as hats, caps, scarves, gloves and sunglasses. The line will be available in stores and online in spring 2014.

Also available in spring 2014 will be Trade Mark’s line of backpacks, rucksacks, gym and trainer bags, PVC bags, holdalls, wheeled luggage and luggage sets, wallets, purses and umbrellas.

“With Matt Hatter now firmly established as essential viewing for so many children, this licensing program really is moving into another dimension,” says Trudi Hayward, senior vice president and head of global merchandising, ITVS GE. “The exciting and inspirational images offered by the extensive Matt Hatter style guide combined with Trade Mark’s own high quality output will make this range a must-have for the fast-growing army of Matt Hatter Chronicles fans. ”

Trade Mark and VMC join a rapidly expanding lineup of partners that also includes Penguin, Titan, Topps, TDP Aykroyd, Character World and Pedigree.
