The TV series "Invizimals, a transmedia production based on the PlayStation video game franchise, is making its debut on the small screen this month.

The new show will air TVE’s Clan channel Friday following its premiere on Televisió de Catalunya's Super 3 last weekend.

Other networks planning to broadcast the series include Al Jazeera, Disney XD, Gulli, K2, Multimania, Megamax, SIC, Star, Eleven and Talit.

Aimed at 6- to 12-year-olds, the series (26x30) unveils the world of the Invizimals, a parallel dimension that is home to mysterious creatures that are invisible to the human eye.

Viewers will be able to join the fun in every episode by capturing different Invizimals or Xtractors that appear on screen through a portable PlayStationVita  system or with mobile devices that have the free "Invizimals: Capturador TV" app.??

The premiere of the series coincides with the recent launch of the sixth video game in the series from by SCE España, "Invizimals: The Resistance," for PS Vita, as well as the release of official action figures from IMC Toys.

The TV series is co-produced by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, Screen 21, Televisió de Catalunya and Televisión Española. BRB Internacional manages the rights to the Invizimals brand in Spain, Portugal and Greece, and for the television series worldwide.
