Imira Makes TV Deals in LatAm

Imira Entertainment has signed four key deals across Latin America and the Hispanic markets in the U.S. for its children’s content.

Cartoon Network has picked up

Gaturro

, a 90-minute animated feature-length love story of two cats, for its Latin American channels. 

Discovery Latin America will air

The Hero of Color City

, a 77-minute feature-length story that follows the magical adventures of a box of crayons.

Meanwhile Netflix has bought Imira’s live-action, 90-minute J.K. Rowling biopic

Magic Beyond Words

and the savvy sleuth series “Sandra, Fairytale Detective” (53 x 13) for its Latin America service.

Finally, DirectTV has picked up four films:

The Living Forest, Crab Island, Entre Vivir Y Soñar

and

El Habitante Incierto

for Hispanic U.S. market, as well as four seasons of the animated comedy Rat-a-Tat (156 x 7).
