Sony Pictures Animation is partnering with Corus Entertainment’s Nelvanato develop a new animated TV series based on the feature film

Focusing on the teenage years of Dracula’s daughter Mavis and her friends, the animated series will be developed and produced by Nelvana Studio in Toronto, Canada, and is slated to launch on air in early 2017.

2 is slated to hit theaters Sept. 25.
